ICP Solar Technologies and JC Whitney partner in launch of mobile solar products

America's largest automotive mail-order company features advanced Sunsei®; solar charger program

MONTREAL, Canada, June 12th, 2007- ICP Solar Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: ICPR and FRANKFURT: K1U.F) today announced that it partnered with JC Whitney, the world’s largest automotive mail order/internet company, to distribute its proprietary Sunsei® solar products. The new range of latest generation thin-film solar panels has recently begun to be featured on its website at www.jcwhitney.com and its various catalogs and websites.

The Sunsei® panels, which currently deliver over 50% more power per square inch than other comparable amorphous-silicon solar panels, were selected due to their advanced features, innovative esthetics and connectivity and solid 10-year warranty. Sass Peress commented, “The delivery of this new program places JC Whitney squarely in the lead pack of other solar panel mail order/internet retailers in the market today. While still in its infancy, the 12V solar mobile market is quickly becoming more and more educated, therefore demanding higher performance and greater feature set. The fact that JC Whitney chose our program over others is validation of the research investments we have made, in order to make Sunsei® the most innovative product of its kind in the marketplace.”

Joe Risch, VP Merchandising at JC Whitney adds, “ICP Solar was selected due to its commitment to ethics in its ratings, superior product value and customer service capabilities through both Internet and phone support for our consumers. As a solid vendor, they have over-delivered on their promises since the inception of this program and we are already recording solid growth over previous programs in this category. Their history of service to the automotive OEM industry validates their ability to deliver day in, day out”.
