Sass Peress

Chairman and CEO

Sass Peress has been the driving force behind ICP Solar since its inception in 1988. Prior to founding ICP Solar, Peress was the VP of Sales for a market-leading automotive accessory distributor. In 1985, he founded and headed an automotive aftermarket manufacturing company that went on to capture more than 70% of market share within two years. He then founded ICP Solar in 1988 and, as President and CEO, has reshaped the company into its current market-leading state within the solar energy industry. With his scientific background and manufacturing experience, he has co-authored much of ICP Solar’s intellectual property. Peress’ educational background includes studies in health sciences, organic chemistry and finance. He graduated with honors from Concordia University’s MBA International Business Program in Montreal, Canada.

Peress was recently a finalist in the Ernst & Young Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year competition and is an active member of the Canadian Solar Energy Society and the American Solar Energy Society. His enthusiasm and drive have been rewarded by ICP Solar’s success and its reputation as a leading solar energy enterprise.

SHELDON REINHART

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer

Sheldon Reinhart recently joined ICP Solar in May 2008. Mr. Reinhart has over 20 years of diverse business and financial experience. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer for a publicly held computer games publisher and prior to that held senior financial and operational roles for both a high-tech manufacturer and developer of burglar alarm systems and an overseas manufacturer. Mr. Reinhart began his career with an independent auditing firm. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Reinhart holds a B.Com and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University.

LAURENT LAFITE

Vice-President, Marketing and Business Development

Laurent Lafite joined ICP in 2006 as Vice-President marketing and Global Strategy after a 20 year career in consumer package goods and innovation marketing .He brings with him a wealth of consumer experience in product innovation, strategy and branding acquired at publicly traded companies such as Havas in Paris, Lagardere in New York, Intel in London and Cossette in Canada. It is his aim to elevate the product and R&D roadmaps and execute Sunsei® brand marketing strategy. His experience as a Director of Marketing at Intel has already impacted ICP in the areas of marketing and technology packaging. Laurent has a deep understanding in the areas of strategic partner development, branding, cross-marketing techniques, innovative product launches and process-driven execution.

Tom CLARK

Vice-President, Sales Americas                                                           

Tom Clark recently joined ICP Solar in May having completed a mandate as General Manager at West Marine, one of ICP Solar’s most important channel partners. His career spans over 20 years of automotive aftermarket product sales and marketing management. His keen understanding of retail programs will further enhance our market position in North America

Pascal petit

Vice-President Sales- EMEA PAC  Consumer and OEM applications

Pascal PETIT joined ICP Solar 3 years ago as Sales Manager - France and Spain. He is now Vice President Sales for the EMEA-PAC region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific). His careers spans over 20 years of high tech and innovative product sales such as GPS and Satellite Communication Systems in Europe and Africa. Pascal is an expert in setting up and supporting distribution networks. He brought to ICP Solar a very large experience in the retail and consumer markets in Europe and Africa.
Pascal graduated in Business Administration in Poitiers (France) and Oxford (UK).
He is 45 years old, is married and has 2 children
